This is a compilation of songs from my first three releases (The Stag, A New Year To Burn And Grow, Uppers & Downers) that I feel represents my early output to the best ability. My newer recording setup is slightly better and I feel that my songwriting ability has matured since my first three releases, but I feel that these songs are the cream of the crop with regards to my first two records and the Pat Malone split. These are also the songs from my earliest record I am most likely to play live, so there's that. I have sequenced it to listen like a full length album, and hopefully you find it to be a seamless and enjoyable experience as a whole album. I have decided to call it WE WERE SOPHOMORES as it collects songs that I wrote and recorded during my sophomore year of college, and many of the songs either pertain directly to experiences during that year or to past experiences which shaped my mindset at the time. I hope that you enjoy it!
